What’s Up (2011)
Genre: Music/Romance/School
Episodes: 20
Review: Take Dream High, place it into a college atmosphere, place more stories, more drama, and more realistic characters and situations, and you have What’s Up. No doubt I love Dream High, but What’s Up will now and forever have a special place in my heart, for it truly combined my love for Korean dramas and my love for Musicals into one. The story itself got my attention, anything to do with the performing arts/ musicals, and I am hooked, but it delivered. I am quite surprised that many people havent watched this drama. It truly is amazing. The actors are as equally as good. Each and every character in this drama plays some sort of role, and you go along with thier stories of sucess and life, and how they are all intewtwined and brought together. Coming down from the last few episodes, I think I bawled my eyes out like a new born baby, and yet at the end, even though I was crying, I wasnt crying just because I was sad because what had happened in the drama, but also I was sad that this beautiful drama was over. I can only hope to see some of these actors and actresses in the future, though some have been in dramas before, they are mix of those who are not that well known, or in fact this was their first drama, and I have to give props to them for being ..well good. If you have yet to see this drama, I urge you to, because it truly is that fantastic. If you love music, musicals, drama and all that good kind of stuff, this is for you. What’s up is truly a fantastic drama.
